Hazel Eloise Lum Harper

Logansport, LA - Funeral services honoring the life of Hazel Lum Harper, 92, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at Hunter Magnolia Baptist Church in Mansfield, LA with Reverend Amador Santos officiating. Burial will follow at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse, LA. The family will receive friends at Hunter Magnolia Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Hazel was born January 15, 1926, in Mansfield, LA to Robert and Fannie Bass English and entered into rest on October 8, 2018. Preceding Hazel in death were her parents; her husbands, Buron Lee Lum and James Harper; brothers; Dennis, Louis, Bill, and Coy English; sisters, Sally McNeil and Totsie Bissell; grandson, Steve Harper; and granddaughter, Veleda Ermel. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, C.B. Lum and wife Debbie of Converse, LA, Jimmy Harper and wife Terry of Joaquin, TX; daughters, Nelda Worthington and Norma Kay Ermel both of Huxley, TX; grandchildren, Shonda Elliott, Scotty Liles, Teresa Kay Bryant, Kelly Calhoun, Kara Cormier, Casey Lum; and 19 great grandchildren. Honoring Hazel as pallbearers will be Scotty Liles, Casey Lum, Cody Hamilton, Warren Parker, Bill Jarrett, and Zack Bryant.
