Harrison McLean Belcher

Graveside services for Harrison McLean Belcher, 87, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Forest Park West in Shreveport, LA. Visitation with the family will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home prior to the service. Officiating will be Steve Angel. Harrison was born December 30, 1929 to Verbena Mae Merriman Lee and Harrison McLean Belcher in Shreveport, LA and went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 11, 2017. He retired from At&t after 37 years and was Vice President of CWA Union. He also was a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Recreational Director at Calvary Baptist Church. Harrison always enjoyed spending time with his family. Harrison was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Eva Belcher; daughters, Cynthia Sims and husband Keith; Karen Williams and husband David; granddaughter, Brittany Smith and grandson, Douglas Williams. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Mission Program at Calvary Baptist Church.
