Hallie Hellen O'Quine entered this world December 24, 1994 to Gretta Lavalais and Lorenzo O'Quine. She departed this life to be with the Lord on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Huston Methodist Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Hallie professed the Lord at an early age and was baptized by her pastor Rev. Van Keith Jones, Sr. at Starlight Baptist Church where she remained a member until her transition. Hallie is a 2015 graduate of Marksville High School. She received her Bachelors of Chemistry from Xavier University, New Orleans, La. in 2017 and she was pursuing both a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Harding University College of Pharmacy from P3 student Class of 2023 and a Master of Business Administration form the Harding University College of Business. Administration (COBA) in Searey, Arkansas. Hallie loved family. She did not let her illness define her, she gave life all she had and lived each day as if it was her last. Her fun-loving personality and vibrant smile will be remembered by all who knew her. She NEVER gave up! Being a big sister to her little brother Jaylen and her sister Ebony was her greatest joy. Hallie was proceeded in death by her brother, Jayden O'Quine, her maternal grandparents, Elouise Jones and Susie Johnson Jones and her paternal great-grandparents, Willie Dixson and Zennie Bibbins Dixson. Hallies memory will be cherished by her Mother, Gretta Lavalais, her Father, Lorenzo O'Quine, Step-Mother Yolanda O'Quine, her sister, Ebony O'Quine, her Step-Grandfather Emanuel Murray, Step-Grandmother Agnes Ford, her nephew, Alysin Moore, her God-Daughter, Aubrie Sampson and a host of uncles, Aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. A visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Starlight Baptist Church in Marksville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville have been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
