Gwendolyn Irene Barbo

A memorial service celebrating the life of Gwendolyn Irene Cotton Barbo, 76, will be held at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation at 2:00 p.m. prior to service time.  

Gwen was born on July 15, 1947, in Coushatta, LA to Exton E. and Irene Keith Cotton and passed April 23, 2024, in Shreveport, LA.

Gwen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hunter C. Barbo; infant daughter, Margaret Irene Barbo; brothers, Daniel, Bobby, Richard and Mitchell; and sisters, Linda and Tina.  Left to cherish her memory are "her" boys, Bobby Joe Clark. Jr. and Auston Lee Clark; sister, Rebecca Wood and husband, Larry; fiancé; Stephen Marie and a host of nieces and nephews.
