Gregory Joseph Thibodeaux

A "Celebration of Life" Service for Gregory Joseph Thibodeaux, 72, will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Sean Duncan.

Greg was born September 12, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joe and Gloria Thibodeaux, and passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in Shreveport.

Greg retired after a dedicated career at General Motors, where he built lasting relationships and took pride in his work. Outside of his profession, he embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved riding bicycles, attending jazz festivals, and spending time with the friends who meant so much to him. Above all, Greg cherished his family. The moments he shared with his daughter, Ashley, were among the greatest joys of his life.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Fran Dillard; and great-nephew, Adam Klingensmith. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Ashley Thibodeaux (Joan); brothers, Michael Thibodeaux (Cheryl), Chris Thibodeaux, Ben Thibodeaux (Gail), Eric Thibodeaux (Lori), and Martin Thibodeaux (Judy); numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends; and his grandkitties, Raider and Sadie.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Pam Health Specialty Hospital of Shreveport.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
