Gracie Moreau

Graciela Amparan Driskill Moreau, 53, of Bienville, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, after a brief illness.

Gracie was born at home on May 17, 1969, to Mavis Driskill and Alex Amparan in Presidio, Texas. She graduated from Arcadia High School in 1987.

In 1995 she met and married the love of her life, her “Sweet Pea”, Todd Moreau and went on to raise her loving sons Jeremy and Taylor.

Gracie and Todd loved spending time enjoying their favorite hobbies of hunting and fishing.  She was so very proud of her two sons and her 4 beautiful grandchildren, Jaxon, Lil Rich, Tucker, and Lillee.  She spent every opportunity with her beloved grandbabies as their “Pokni”.

Gracie was preceded in death by her father Alex Amparan, her cherished Daddy, James Woodard Driskill, and her precious brother, Richard Wade Driskill. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Todd, her sons Jeremy and Taylor (Johnna) her mother Mavis Driskill of Arcadia, Louisiana, her brothers Joseph Amparan of Ruston, Louisiana and Alex Amparan, Jr of El Paso, Texas, her sisters Dorinda Nyegaard (Willie) of Simsboro, Louisiana, Michele Reyes (Richard) of Slidell, Louisiana, Jamie Driskill Welch (Jarrod) of Arcadia, Louisiana,  Cecilia Amparan of El Paso, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers include Curtis Jones, Colton Smith, Ray Roberson, and her nephews, Ryan Colvin, Zackary Fruge’, Trenton Bell, Dustyn Bell, and Gabriel Driskill.

Honorary pallbearers are Ethan Bolyer, Tristan Fruge’, Carl Driskill, and Gregory “Redman” Mills.

Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Arcadia, Louisiana on Wednesday, February 15 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service officiated by Pastor Kelly Leach will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Thursday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m. with internment to follow at Driskill Mountain Cemetery.  There will be a brief reception at Bienville Methodist Church in Bienville, Louisiana.
