Grace Louise Copeland Litton

Grace Litton, 89, passed away on Thurs. Jan. 22, 2026, at Christus Highland Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, from 10:00am-12:00pm at Fellowship Baptist Church in Converse, Louisiana with funeral and graveside services to follow starting at 12:00pm.

Grace was born on September 25, 1936, in Converse, Louisiana. She married Donnie Litton in 1956 and enjoyed constant shenanigans with him and their 6 children, living a life full of laughter and love. Grace was a life-long member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she was a pianist from age 16 and acted as church secretary for many years. She was an avid LSU fan and didn’t like to miss watching a game (even when in the hospital having surgery). Grace loved to travel and delighted in road trips and bus tours with friends and family through the years.

She is survived by her brother, Walter Copeland (Joyce) of Grand Prairie; Texas, brother-in-law (Eric Lord) of Baytown, Texas; daughter, Debra Mustin (Lynn) of Houma, Louisiana; son, John Litton (Terri) of Bedford, Texas; son, Donnie Litton (Kayla) of Converse, Louisiana; son, Walter Litton (Kim) of Converse, Louisiana; daughter, Lori Brian (Dwain) of Brandon, Mississippi; daughter, Wendy Rousseau (Ryan) of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Mattingly (John); Mary Beth Cormier (Nick); Ryan Litton (Victoria); Kara Fortner (Christian); Jacob Litton (LaChrisha); Lydia Mullins (Brandon); Allen Litton (Avery); Daniel Litton (Alex); Max Brian (Kate); Mark Daoust; Austin Brian; Shawn Brian (Clara); and 12 great-grandchildren.

Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Litton; father, Grover Copeland; mother, Mary Browne Copeland; sister, Amy Lord; sister, Judy Copeland; and her grandson, Logan Brian.

Pallbearers: Allen Litton, Daniel Litton, Max Brian, Jacob Litton, Ryan Litton and Joseph Hinds.

Honorary Pallbearer: Mark Daoust

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Fellowship Baptist Church in Converse, Louisiana. The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to everyone who has shown support and kindness during this time of bereavement.
