Gloria Mae Burr Parker

Funeral services honoring the life of Gloria Mae Burr Parker will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Chapel, Mansfield, Louisiana with Rev. Mel Campbell and Rev. Gary Orr officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Gloria was born October 11, 1938, to Gathel Burr and Stella Summerlin and entered into rest on Friday, September 2, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 45 years, Charles W. Parker; and brothers, George Burr, and Benjamin Summerlin.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Troy Parker, and wife, Tina; daughter, Dahlia Denise Estrada; grandchildren, Tarah Lott and husband, Nick, Ethan Parker and wife, Nicole, Kyle Pearson and wife, Katie, Meagan Pearson, Timmy Seifert; great-grandchildren: Dylan, Jaycee, Caden, Dakota; and siblings, Jerry Summerlin, Rodney Burr, Betty Hellen Graves, Judy Phillips, Freda Phelps, and Glenda Runnels.
