Glenn Russell Devenney

SHREVEPORT, LA - Glenn Russell Devenney, 89, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. He was born on January 9, 1929 in Junction City, Kansas to the late Willard L. Devenney and Ada O. Buckley Devenney. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked in the publishing business for over 50 years. Preceding him in death are his brothers, Leonard Buckley Devenney, Lyle Devenney, and Keith Francis Devenney, and two half-brothers, Ralph and Raymond Devenney. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Fern Devenney, of Shreveport, LA; two daughters, Dawn Devenney Case and her husband Butch of Junction City, Kansas and Kelly Devenney Pickett and her husband Howard of Hot Springs, AR; one grandson, Brian Pickett and his wife Audrey of Hot Springs, AR; two great-grandchildren, Ben Pickett and Joplin Pickett of Hot Springs, AR. A private Memorial Service will be held at his residence. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, LA.
