Glendel Marie Sandifer

Funeral services for Glendel Marie Sandifer, 80, will be held at Old Pisgah Baptist Church, 15192 LA-120, Marthaville, Louisiana at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Old Pisgah Cemetery in Marthaville, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Frank Gunn. Glendel was born on March 26, 1941 in Robeline, Louisiana to Leon Eugene and Mable Brown Sandifer and passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a long-time member of Broadmoor Baptist Church, where she devoted years of service to the Children's Ministry. Caring for and loving on children was her calling. She deeply loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be greatly missed. Glendel was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gracie Desoto and Fay Josey and brother, Leon Eugene Sandifer, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Stier and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Anna Grace Stier and Christian Stier; brothers, Doyle Sandifer and wife, Charlene and Ronnie Sandifer and wife, Janie and several nieces and nephews. Honoring Glendel as pallbearers will be Brian Olliff, Calvin Wyatt, Dustin Sepulvado, Bert Hood, Trey Hood and Jerry Sandifer.
