Gladys A Loftin

Coushatta, LA - A graveside service celebrating the life of Gladys M. Loftin, 90, was held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Martin Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Richard Kaufman officiating. Mrs. Gladys was born on September 29, 1930 in Zwolle, Louisiana to Albert and Clara Martinez and passed January 9, 2021 in Coushatta, Louisiana. Mrs. Gladys was a long-time member of Martin Baptist Church and loved her church family. Mrs. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Isaac Roy Loftin; son, Bonne Roy Loftin; granddaughter, Lori Dupree; son-in-law, Terry Dupree; grandson, David Wayne Loftin, Jr.; sisters, Ruth Williams, Mildred Bush, Margie Barnhill, Muriel Walker and Laverne Kenningtion; brothers, Granvil Martinez, Earl C. Martinez and Bernard Martinez. Left to cherish her memory are son, David Wayne Loftin and wife, Cindy; daughter, Jeannie Dupree; daughter-in-law, Donna Loftin; grandchildren, Chad Dupree. Krista Dupree Bass, Erin Dupree Bachman, Haley Loftin Campbell, Roy Lee Loftin, and Zoie Loftin; and 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Chad Dupree, Roy Lee Loftin, Ed Hunter, Zach Anderson, Martin Ramos and Travis Martinez. Honorary pallbearers were the Men's Sunday School Class of Martin Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to be made to the charity of donor's choice.
