Ginger Dawn Fleming

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Ginger Dawn Fleming, 71, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023, at United Pentecostal Church of Benton, 220 Pine Street, Benton, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor John Campbell.

Ginger was born October 11, 1951, in Springhill, Louisiana, to James Lester Barnes and Leitha Aby Wheeler Barnes, and passed away on February 19, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana, after a long battle with cancer.

Ginger is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Kelly Barnes, Louie Barnes, and Danny Barnes. She is survived by her children, William Reed, Todd Brown and wife, Stephanie, and Stacy Berney and husband, Billy Joe; grandchildren, Hunter Reed, Kale Gleason, Brayden Brown, Dillon Brown, Tripp Gleason, and Kendall Berney; sisters, Prinice Alene Allen, and Katie Peace; and her dog, Rebel.
