Gerardette Hesser

Funeral services celebrating the life of Gerardette Rambin Hesser, 68, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 7, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 305 Jefferson Street, Mansfield, Louisiana with Rev. Timothy C. Hurd officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rambin, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024, with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana. 

Gerardette was born on July 6, 1956, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joseph Earl Rambin, Sr. and Valma C. Roblow and passed away November 3, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Gerardette was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Valma Rambin; son, Joey Hesser; mother-in-law, Patricia Hesser; and father-in-law, Sam Hesser. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Christian Hesser; daughter, Megan Hesser Kellogg (Jason); grandchildren, Sam Hesser (Sky), Kasey Hesser, Cameron Kellogg, Zoe Kellogg, Sophia Kellogg; great-grandchildren, Joselyn Spikes, Riley Trader, and Jodie Hesser; daughter-in-law, Candy Hesser; sisters, Belinda Rogers (Glenn), Becky Sanders (Bob), Nancy Ruston, Sharon Doyal (Ricky), and Toni Rambin; brothers, David Rambin, Paul Rambin (Sue), Joe Rambin (Gwen), Bernie Rambin, and Marvin Rambin (Jo); sister-in-law, Melissa Hesser; brothers-in-law, Vernon P. Hesser (Cissy), Gerard Hesser (Penny) and Rich Ruston; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honoring Gerardette as pallbearers will be Jason Kellogg, Cameron Kellogg, Caleb Morgan, Byron Rogers, Micheal Barton, and Tanner Edwards.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jeffery Hesser, Angelo Chamberlin, Anthony Hemphill, and Paul Trader.
