Funeral services for Gerald "Jerry" Roy Ordoyne, 79, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Officiating the service will be Chaplin Jay Valentine. Burial will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City, Louisiana. Jerry was born on June 2, 1941 to Earnest and Myrtle Ordoyne in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Bossier City, Louisiana. Jerry aka \"Crawfish\" loved trucking, the New Orleans Saints, dancing with the love of his life, Laura Sue, and playing with his grandkids. He was a devoted father to all his children and grandchildren, who he was affectionately known as "Pop Pop". Besides his love for the New Orleans Saints, his family was most important to him. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pricilla Minter; brother; Ernie Ordoyne and daughter, Deanna Lindsay. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 45 years, Laura Sue; sons, Gerald Ordoyne and wife, Mary and William Ordoyne and wife, Tammy; daughters, Tempy Koglin and husband, Ed Jorden and Carla Dzenowski and husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Paul Ordoyne, Brandon Koglin and wife Becca, Jordan Koglin and wife Katie, Jillian Koglin and fiancé, Chris Thornton, Hunter Walker and Colton Walker and fiancé, Tristan; great-grandchildren, Kinzlee Anne Koglin, Kasen Ardoin, Wyatt Koglin, Jensen Koglin, Felicity Koglin, Magnolia Koglin, Jordan Thornton, Oliver Walker and Meredith Rico and multiple grand-pups. Honoring Jerry as pallbearers will be Jason Lewis, Leonard Koglin, Pacey Allen, James Erwin, Matt Rigdon, Mike Ballard and Colton Walker. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Clay Thomas and Joe Jackson.
