Homer, LA Funeral services for George C. Watson, Sr. will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Gordon Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Homer, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. George was born October 19, 1933 in Homer, Louisiana and entered into rest January 26, 2020 in Arcadia, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his son George C. Watson, sister Mabel Watson, and grandchildren Letha, Jason, Danny, and George Michael Watson. He is survived by his sons Jimmy Dale Watson and Billy Wayne Watson of Jonesboro, Bobby Joe Watson (Tina) of Shreveport and Tommy Watson of Dodson, daughters Dorothy Lum of Brandon, Florida, Ginger Smith (Buddy) of Jonesboro, Donna Watson of Sibley, Renee Hampton (Travis) of Jonesboro, Crystal Barton of Springhill and Mary Jean Pevy of Minden, 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
