After a few years, he went to work at Crown Dental Studio for then owners, Bill Bradford and Francis Warnock. He worked there for a long period of time. He recently was selected as a lifetime member.

After moving to DeSoto Parish, Dwain started attending a First Thursday Men's Prayer Group led by Tom Gatti. He rarely missed and was greatly blessed! He also attended a First Saturday Men's Prayer Breakfast led by Butch Stroud. He also was blessed!
