Graveside services celebrating the life of Mr. George Wilbert Smith will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Zwolle City Cemetery. George was born July 19, 1927 in Hemphill, TX to Erma Elizabeth (Self) Smith and James Edward Smith and entered into rest on November 29, 2020 in Groves, TX. Preceding him in death were his parents, Mr. & Mrs. James Edward Smith; his wife, Barbara Ann (Mayea) Smith; his son, Scott Stacey Smith; his daughter, Bonnie Smith; his sisters, Verse Franklin, Louis Nelson, and Thelma Wiggins; his brothers, J. E. Smith and Earl Smith. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Darren Smith & wife, Linda of Orange, TX; his daughter, Linda Rials & husband, Rod of Orange, TX, his daughter, Deborah Davis & husband, Buddy of Nederland, TX; he also has 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
