George Lee

George Lee was born March 6, 1953 to R.C Lee and Ester Mae Dotson in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He was a longtime member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Mooringsport, Louisiana. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Shreveport Manor and Passages Hospice for their excellent care and compassion and special thanks to all the friends and family who visited him.

George is preceded in death by his father; brother, Gerald Lee and nephew, Andrew Duncan. His memory is survived by his mother; daughters, Melinthia Lee Washington, Georgia Rachel and Tameika Masters; sons, Marcus Lee and George Lee Jr.; sisters, Tina Jamison, Bobbie Bennet, Mary Jackson and Sammie Duncan; brother, Timothy Lee; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
