George Edward Jordan

George Edward (Ed) Jordan, 82, of Keithville, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2022.

Graveside services honoring the life of George will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, located at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Joe Jordan and JR Taylor.

George was a graduate of Byrd High School. He married Nokie Jordan and shared 64 wonderful years together. George retired from the City of Shreveport. In his free time he enjoyed baseball, spending time with his family, and peach trees.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margie Jordan; and brothers, Marvin Jordan and Bud Jordan. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nokie Jordan; son, George Jordan; grandsons, Bubba Jordan and wife Liane, and Chris Jordan; great-granddaughter, Adley Jordan; brothers, Joe Jordan and Gary Jordan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
