Shreveport, LA - Services for George W. Jordan will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2:30 p.m.at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Chapel. Rev. Buck Furlough will be officiating. Interment at Forest Park West, Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the funeral home. George Jordan, 93, of Shreveport, La died September 30, 2016. He was born to Wilson and Ada Smith Jordan on March 30, 1923 in Robeline, La. Beloved husband of the late Rosie Jordan and the late Margie M. Jordan; Dear father of, Ed (Nokia) Jordan, Joe Jordan, Gary (Janie) Jordan, The late James C. "Bud" Jordan and The late Marvin "Mo" Jordan; Loving grandfather of 16 and four step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Honoring George as pallbearers will be Ryan Jordan, Bubba Jordan, Chris Jordan, Robert Hall, and Frank Laprarie. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Southern Hills Nursing and Rehab Center, for their care, concern, and attention given to our Dad. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
