Funeral services honoring the life of Mr. George Wesley Burr will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, LA with Bro. Brandon Goynes and Bro. Dexter Goynes officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation at the chapel on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Converse Cemetery in Converse, LA. George was born on January 15, 1954 in Converse, Louisiana to Gathel Burr and Helen Burr Pugh. He entered into rest on January 7, 2020 in Converse, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Ever Burr of Benson, LA; sons, Chris Burr and wife Jennifer of Benson, LA and Brad Burr and wife Jamie of Many, LA; sisters, Betty Tuck Graves and husband Travis of Mansfield, LA; Judy Phillips and husband Ronnie of Mansfield, LA; Glenda Runnels and husband Andy of Karnack, TX; Gloria Parker and husband Charles of Shreveport, LA; brother, Rodney Burr and wife Pam of Converse, LA; grandchildren, Shelby Fullerton and husband Shane of Benson, LA; Emily, Andri, Cameron and Leyton Burr; great-grandchildren, Thaddeus and Adeline Fullerton, and a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring George as pallbearers will be Walter Bell, Curtis Bryan, Lynn Youngblood, Thomas Tuck, Mike Tuck and Steve Campbell.
