Frederick Charles Potts

Frederick Charles Potts, 71, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 6, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on July 18, 1950 to Raymond Alfred Potts and Margaret Edith Bronson Potts in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Frederick was a loving father, grandfather, brother, husband and friend. He had many talents but was particularly gifted in singing. He was in a band in his younger days. He loved to travel and had served in the United States Navy. He was employed as an electrician for over 29 years with General Motors and retired in 2012. He then opened the Southside Saloon in Keithville where he enjoyed meeting people and making new friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Potts; and his son, Fred Potts. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Tiffany Potts; granddaughter, Alexis Pate; grandsons, Shawn Pate and Carl Potts and wife, Hannah; great-grandchildren, Kruze Myers, Ezekiel Potts and one on the way; and brother, Ray Potts and wife, Debra Potts. The family wants to give special thanks to the staff at Willis-Knighton South for all the wonderful care given to Frederick during his illness.
