Mrs. Freda Hosler Albritton, 62 of Minden, Louisiana entered into rest on April 5, 2021 in Minden, Louisiana. Freda was born on March 4, 1959 in Minden, Louisiana and spent her entire life in Minden.
She graduated from Minden High School class of 1977; worked for Kilpatrick Life Insurance Company for 35 years serving in many capacities in North Louisiana; she was past member of Young Women's Service Club and involved in the Minden Chamber of Commerce. Freda loved gardening, sewing, traveling, fishing, hunting. She enjoyed volunteering with the children's music ministry and playing the piano at several area churches, always ready to fill in where needed, serving the Lord when called upon. Her greatest joy was her family and grandchildren. Watching the grandchildren's ball games and cheering them on and always ready to share her pictures and stories of all their times together. Freda loved people and always took a special interest in them and she touched many lives during her lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred B. Hosler and stepdad, C.D. "Bud" Sandidge. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Cecil L. Albritton of Minden; mother, Janie Hosler Sandidge of Minden; daughters, Ashleigh Watkins and husband Lou of Lindale, Texas and Lindsay Simpson and husband Brad of Minden; grandchildren, Ellie, Emma, Kaylee, Cullen and Conly, Brooklyn and Jacob; and brother, Michael B. Hosler and wife Carol of Minden; stepbrother James Sandidge of Tatum, Texas; stepsisters, Cynthia and Kathy.
Pallbearers will be Scott Conly, Steve Conly, Kyle Robichaux, Wilson Hosler, Don Lindsey, and Bentley Hines.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana where she was a member. Officiating will be Rev. Leland Crawford and Rev. Floyd Smith. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
