Frank was born on August 23, 1938 in West Monroe, Louisiana to Frank Peske and Daisy Tillman Peske, the third of six children and the first son, and passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
After marrying Marilyn Defatta in 1960, Frank graduated from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana in 1961 and was commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in the United States Army. They had the first of three daughters, Denise, in 1961, a second, Lisa, in 1963, and their third daughter, Lorie, in 1967. After completing his service obligation, Frank left the Army and moved to Shreveport, taking a job with Western Electric, which later became AT&T, where he worked until he retired. After retirement, Frank enjoyed fishing and woodworking, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his wife and family, including his children and grandchildren, with whom he was very close. After the death of his first wife, Marilyn, Frank met and married a wonderful woman named Anna Skyles, who was with him until his death.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Rilla Wilson and Myra Scott; brother, Gene Peske, and wife of 55 years, Marilyn DeFatta Peske.
