Frances Moreau

\"We love you, Queen Bee\" Shreveport, LA - Frances Omega Moreau age 83, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mrs. Moreau was born to Freeman Coleman and Joy Laun on June 3, 1936 in Shreveport, LA. She married Aubrey Moreau and had her first child at 16 years old after dropping out of school. They went on to have two more boys. At the age of 45 she received her G.E.D. and only one year later, she earned her nursing license. She went to work at Schumpert Medical Hospital where she retired after 20 years. Mrs. Moreau was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Aubrey Moreau; son, Rickey Moreau; parents; and brother, Tony Coleman. She is survived by her children, Michael Moreau, Terry Moreau and wife Patty; 15 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; brother, Billie Coleman and wife Connie; and longtime best friend, Lanell Rachal. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Funeral Home. Erick Turner will officiate the service. Graveside services will follow at Centuries Memorial Park, ?8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Willis Knighton Hospice nurses, Angela and Kimberly. Also, Erick and Amanda Turner and Lottie Grice for taking special care of Mrs. Moreau.
