Funeral services for Frances Marie Foster, 80, will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 1204 Crabapple Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow in Ft. Jessup Cemetery in Robeline, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Officiating the service will be Rev. Mark Bray and Rev. Willis Dear, both of Christ United Methodist Church.
Frances was born on December 10, 1941 in Dutchtown, Louisiana to Noah Edward Veuleman, Jr. and Willivae Johnson Veuleman and passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in Shreveport.
Frances retired from the Registrar of Voters Office. She loved to cook and bowl in her earlier years. Her family meant the world to her. She loved to spend time with them at every opportunity.
She is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, C.O. Lester; daughter, Amy L. Foster; granddaughter, Brittney L. Foster; brothers, H. Ray "Buddy" Veuleman and David W. Lester. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Freddie L. Foster; son, Mark E. Foster and wife, Kristi; granddaughters, Hazuki "Maggie Frances" Goya, Kristen Foster, and McKenzie Hope Foster; sister, Charlotte V. Echols and husband, Mike; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Honoring Frances as pallbearers will be Mike Echols, Michael D. Echols, Jr., Greg Williams, David Michael Jones, Jr., H. Ray Veuleman, Jr., Christopher T. Lester, and Brian D. Shoebridge.
