A Graveside Service honoring the life of Frances Rainer Brossette will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent.
Frances Rainer Brossette was born February 25, 1924 in Shreveport, Louisiana to John Curtis and Minnie McCorkle Rainer and passed away peacefully Sunday, January 30, 2022.
Frances was a graduate of C.E. Byrd High School and retired from Texas Eastern Transmission after 25 years of dedicated service. She married the love of her life, Doby L. Brossette on December 15, 1940. A devout Christian, Frances was a charter member of Haynes Avenue Baptist Church and served on several committees. She enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening, fishing, and her book club, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and her great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Doby L. Brossette; son, Jimmie Brossette; sisters, Nelda McNeilly and Dottye Emory; and brother, J.C. Rainer, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter-in-law, Carol Brossette; grandson, David E. Brossette; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Caleb, and Jacob; great-great-grandchildren, Allison and Haylee Hayes and Madden Feazell; sister, Betty Ayers; and brother, Larry Rainer.
