Funeral services for Frances "Gayle" Batton will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Darrell Pollard officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Gayle was born February 24, 1946 in Winnsboro, Louisiana and entered into rest October 27, 2018 in Garrison, Texas. Gayle was a resident of Minden and had spent the last four years in Garrison, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Batton, parents; Iona & Claude Barton, brothers; David Barton, Charles Barton, and Bobby Barton, and sisters; Laverne Springfield and Mary Moore.
She is survived by her sons; Kendall Batton and wife Teresa of Minden and Timothy Batton and wife Sarah of Kingsland, Georgia, daughters; Brandy Batton Mooney and husband John of Garrison, Texas and Jessica Batton of Hope, Arkansas, sisters; Betty Perryman, Claudine Robinson, and Earlene Rolen, brothers; Donald and Vernon Barton, and grandchildren; John Michael Mooney, Nicholas Mooney, Peyton Batton, Hunter Batton, and Gracie Batton.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Breaux.
