Floyd Lee Walsworth, Jr.

Floyd Lee Walsworth, Jr., 80, of Keithville, Louisiana entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2024. He was born on July 29, 1943, in Hodge, Louisiana to Floyd Lee Walsworth, Sr. and Beatrice Barron Walsworth.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive in Shreveport. Graveside services honoring the life of Floyd will be held after the visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. located at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road in Shreveport. Officiating the service will be Chad Hardbarger. Honoring Floyd as pallbearers will be Christian Broussard, James Wooldridge, Curt Protho, Carl Protho, Jeff Polk, and David Maxwell.

Floyd graduated from Fair Park High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served 4 years. On October 27, 1962, he married the love of his life, Gloria Jean Walsworth. Floyd was the proud owner and operator of Walsworth Body Shop. His hobbies included golfing and watching sports.

He was preceded by his wife, Gloria Jean Walsworth; parents, Floyd Sr. and Beatrice Barron Walsworth; sister, Dianne Chandler; brother-in-law, Sterling Chandler; and grandson, Daniel L. Walsworth “D.J.” Jr. He is survived by his sons, Floyd Allen Walsworth and wife Ellen, and Daniel Walsworth, Sr. and wife Brandy; grandchildren, Cody Walsworth and wife Karissa, Brittany Ruyle and husband Brandon, Chelsie Walsworth, Brooklyn Broussard and spouse Christian, Amberlyn Walsworth, and Jaylee Bass; great-grandchildren, Brody Brooks, Spencer Ruyle, Xander Ruyle, Axell Edison, Sylvie Walsworth, and Burklee Broussard.
