Florice Dugas Barron

Florice Dugas Barron, age 99, of Shreveport, Louisiana entered eternal rest on June 21, 2024. She was born on November 3, 1924, in Belle Rose, Louisiana to Clay and Velma Dugas.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, located at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Road in Shreveport. 

Florice was a member of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. She was a beautician and governor appointed board member of Louisiana Public Facilities Authority. 

Florice was preceded in death by parents, Clay and Velma Dugas; spouse, John P. Barron; and siblings, Nickie Dugas Liberto and Nelson Dugas. Left to cherish her memory include son, Glen D. Barron; granddaughter, Emily Barron; and grandson, Peyton Barron.
