Filiberto Cuen Pintor

A Memorial Service for Filiberto Cuen Pintor, 94, will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service time. Officiating the service will be Father Kevin Mues. Filiberto was born on May 18, 1927 in Tucson, Arizona to Geronimo Franco Pintor and Manuela Cuen Pintor and passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Filiberto was a resident of Bossier City, Louisiana. He graduated from the University of Tampa with a BS degree in Social Studies. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and went on to the U.S. Air Force and served for 20 years. He then went into the Civil Service at the VA Medical Center and worked an additional ten years. He was a devout Catholic and attended St. Joseph's and the BAFB Chapel where he and his wife served as Communion Stewards. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He and his wife, Claudine, enjoyed traveling the world. Filiberto is preceded in death by his sisters, Jenny Pintor Mejias, Ruth Pintor Nieto, Elisa Pintor Myers; brother, Frank Cuen Pintor; and grandson, Colton Bordelon. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Donna Stoma and husband, Albert, Sharon Fletcher and husband, Shean; grandchildren, Melissa Hatley and husband, David, Jared Noble and wife, Rebel, Lauren Mann and husband, Brandon, Ryan Copenhaver, Caitlin Fletcher, and Alexis Fletcher; numerous great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and brother, Ventura Cuen Pintor of Tucson, Arizona. Honoring Filiberto as honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Copenhaver, Shean Fletcher, Brandon Mann, David Hatley, and Chase, Chandler and Chapman Dillard.
