Faye Hope Raney

Graveside services for Faye Hope Donaldson Raney "Gran" age 94 will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Forest Park St. Vincent Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Ave. Officiating will be Ray Raney from the Simple Church. Shreveport, Louisiana, 71103. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home Bossier. Mrs. Raney went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 19, 2020 in Bossier City. She was born August 29, 1925 in Jena, Louisiana to Daisy and Charles Donaldson. Faye married Shelton Raney in 1948 and together they operated their family business 'Charles Body Shop' for almost 50 years. Faye loved participating and serving at church, painting, and going to garage sales, but her greatest joy was being "Gran". She enjoyed her final years at Riverview Care Center where she was involved in all activities; her favorites being church and BINGO! Mrs. Raney was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Earl Raney; son, Thomas Shelton Raney; and her parents. She is survived by her son, Ray Raney and wife Alison; grandchildren, Rae Lynn Adcock, Amanda Talley and husband Justin, and Thomas Raney; great grandchildren, Madalyn Mouser, Chance Mouser, Annaleigh Talley, Alisa Talley and Landon Talley; numerous nieces and nephews with a very special relationship with nephew "Skeeter." Her family would like to thank all the staff of Riverview Care Center for their love and care of her for the past three years.
