Faye Marie Holyfield, 73, of Benton Louisiana, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family, friends and the health care heroes that embraced her through her time of need. A funeral service celebrating the life of Faye Marie Holyfield will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Chapel on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 6 to 8 P.M. Interment will be at Forest Park West. Officiating the service will be Pastor Johnny Holyfield and Pastor J.J. Holyfield Faye was born on November 7, 1947, in Winnsboro, Louisiana, to Claude and Doris Nichols. She retired from the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office where she made many lifelong friends which held a very special place in her heart. Faye never made anyone feel like a stranger; she brought light, comfort, laughter, and love to every person she met. She was known as \"Nana\" not only to her grandchildren but to all children that knew her, and she will be greatly missed. Faye is preceded in death by parents, Claude and Doris Nichols and her husband, Henry Holyfield. She is survived by sister, Glenda Shipley of Bossier City, LA; brother J. E. Nichols of Benton, LA; sons, Tim Holyfield and wife, Debbie, Tom Holyfield and wife, Lori, Tony Holyfield and wife, Michelle; daughter, Tammy Randol and husband, Steve; nephew, Todd Dick and wife, Brandy; niece, Tosha Lester and husband, Brian; daughter-in-law, Sandy Stanley; grandchildren, Dustin Randol and wife, Haley, Eric Randol, Logan Holyfield and fiancé, Daniela, Dylan Randol and fiancé, Kortney, Nicholas Holyfield, Christopher Holyfield, Joshua Holyfield, Anthony Holyfield, Stephanie Watts, Lynnzee Dick, and Hannah Lester; five great-grandchildren, Caroline and Patrick Randol, Brantley Holyfield, Cole McCartney, and Elijah Ezell. The family would like to say a very special thank you to the staff and physicians at Willis-Knighton North, especially the staff on 3 North, 2 West and 2 North.
