Evelyn D. Brooks

Funeral services for Evelyn D. Brooks will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at West Lake Baptist Church in Doylone, Louisiana with Bro. Michael Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at West Lake Cemetery in Doyline, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at teh church prior to the service.

Evelyn was born November 11, 1950, in Chinnor, England and entered into rest February 12, 2023, in Doyline, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Alice Parks and Arthur James Parks and her sister, Mary Elizabeth Parks.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Brooks of Doyline; son, Stephen Allen Brooks of Lawton, OK; daughter, Jennifer Claire Goodwin of Stonewall; brothers, Gilbert Parks and Richard Parks of England; and grandchildren, Jason, Rachael, Keira, Hailey, Joshua, and Gracie.
