Evelyn Clement Allen

Evelyn Clement Allen, 97, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 at her home in Shreveport, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Broadmoor Baptist Church, 4110 Youree Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent. Officiating will be Reverend Joe Clement.

Evelyn was born on February 14, 1928. She graduated 1949 at La. College in music. She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James L. Allen; son, Jim Allen and three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her loving daughter, Debra Allen.

Honoring Evelyn as pallbearers will be Sean Embree, Mike Grounds, Wayne Morgan, Hoyt Bain, Ed Grounds, John Clement, John Sullivan and Wayne Curzadd.
