Eula Mae Ammons

Graveside services for Eula Mae Ammons, 94, will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Bayou Scie Cemetery in Zwolle, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr. in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Judith LaRoue.

Eula was born on September 27, 1927 to Ernest Champion and Ola Williford Champion in Zwolle, Louisiana and passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Shreveport.

Eula was a resident of Shreveport and a homemaker. She enjoyed florist work and having a beautiful yard filled with flowers and butterflies. She particularly enjoyed her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. They were her heart and soul. Eula was a caregiver to many. She will be sadly missed.

Eula is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Archie Ammons. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Janet Cook; grandchildren, Neal Cook, Gwendoline Gale Cook Cardone and husband, Christopher Cardone; great-great-grandchildren, Jase Michael Cardone and Emily Elizabeth Cardone.
