Eric Wayne Jones

Memorial services for Eric Wayne Jones, 48, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Buddy Ivey officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until service time. Eric was born November 7, 1969 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2019. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed many different hobbies. He was a terrific auto mechanic. Eric lived life to the fullest and put his all into everything he did. He was a loving husband, father, son, and friend. Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Janelle Jones and uncle, Terry Jones. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Garry Lynn Jones; wife of 20 years, Kimberly Annette Whiddon Jones; daughter, Lisa Nicole Jones and Erica Shea Jones Gawronski and husband Tyler; brother, Stacy Lynn Jones; aunts, Janice Gilcrease, Jeneva Dimambro, and Beverly Smith Aaron; cousins, Travis Jones, Christy Jones, and T.J. Jones; and numerous extended family.
