Eric Alan Gesn

A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Eric Alan Gesn will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 204 Patton Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Father Joseph Martina of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow the service in Forest Park Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. Eric Alan Gesn was born October 5, 1971 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Paul and Karen Gesn and passed away, Monday, November 8, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Eric was an extremely intelligent and capable person who loved music, especially playing the guitar. He was known for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand. He was good at solving problems and repairing things. He loved his family and had a special place in his heart for his cats, especially Socks. Eric was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Gesn and brother, David Gesn. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Karen Gesn and brother, Randy Gesn. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Alfred "Speedy" Mercer and Kevin Sowell.
