Emma "Joan" Gullion

Funeral services for Emma "Joan" Gullion, 73, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Joan was born July 8, 1944 and passed away February 17, 2018 after a lengthy illness in Shreveport, LA where she was a longtime resident. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Donny Ray" Gullion; parents, James Thomas "Bud" Brewer and Mable Marsh Brewer; sister, Betty Brewer McWilliams; and brother, James Robert "Tommy" Brewer. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robbie Mayberry and wife Ina of Keithville, LA and Mark Mayberry and wife Lacy of Shreveport; grandchildren, Heather Mayberry, Robert "Andrew" Mayberry, Getty Mayberry, Dalton Mayberry, and Kason Mayberry; great-grandchildren, Tyler Kunkel, Lilyana Kunkel, and Chasity Loyd; sisters, Annie Brewer Skipper of Tallulah, LA, Peggy Still of Bastrop, LA, and Marsha Brewer Roblow and husband Floyd of Bossier City, LA; and brother, Daniel "Danny" Brewer of Rayville, LA.
