Elnora B. Davis

Graveside services for Elnora Davis, 99, will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Jerrell Head.

Elnora was born April 2, 1923 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Oscar James Brown and Nela Elnora Carmack Brown and passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 in Shreveport. Before retiring, she spent her career in the medical profession.

Elnora is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Albert Carter and Malcome (Mac) Davis; sons, Ray Carter, Al Carter, George Carter; daughter, Anita Woods; three sisters and three brothers. Left to cherish her memory are several grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law, Deanna Carter; and sister, Carolyn McCory.
