Ella Bea Price

A graveside service honoring the life of Ella Bea Price will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Forest Park Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bishop Nathan Barrow. Ella Bea Price was born June 23, 1928 in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away peacefully Monday, January 4, 2021 at her home. Ella was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana where she met the love of her life, Jack Piercy Price, with whom they had a son, Jimmy Price. She worked for Merrill Lynch as a financial associate. She loved serving her clients. Ella and Jack traveled all over Louisiana gathering native plants and bringing them back to plant in their wooded acreage. She was the matriarch of the family. She was always true and just and loved the whole family dearly. She will be missed by her family and friends, especially all the animals that knocked on her door. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Susie Parker; brother, Billie Parker; sisters, Gloria Iglesias and Linda Morvan and nephew, Paul Morvan. She is survived by Rebecca Walker, Genie Finklea, Amanda Lolley, Kaitlyn Lolley, Megan Lolley and 5 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Ms. Pam and Bianca for the love and kindness they gave Mama B. What a blessing they were to her.
