Logansport, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Janice Rogers Pierce, 70, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Rose-Neath Chapel, Logansport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne Jones. Interment will be at O. E. Price Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the funeral home. Janice was born August 5, 1948 and passed away March 17, 2019. She was proceeded in death by father, Shelton Samuel Rogers, Sr.; mother, Annie Lois Steele Rogers; brother, Shelton Samuel Rogers, Jr.; father-in-law, Walter Pierce; and mother-in-law, Catherine Pierce. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Don David Pierce; adopted sons, Charlie Metcalf and wife, Tonya Metcalf, and Victor Tingle and wife, Edie Tingle; daughter, Donisa Pierce Tingle and husband, Shane Tingle; granddaughters, Anna Grace Tingle, Haylee Caitlin Tingle, Tayler Mishelle Tingle; grandsons, Luke Tingle and Grayson Tingle; great grand-daughter, Aubrey Leanne Gentry; brothers, Thomas Rogers and wife, Margarite, Charlie Rogers, and Clay Rogers. Pallbearers will be Brian Dean, Victor Tingle, Charlie Adams, Cleve Hogg, Cody Gentry and Charles Ray Metcalf.
