Elizabeth “Betty” Irene Spohrer Morton

Elizabeth “Betty” Irene Spohrer Morton, 77, was born on December 5, 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Paul and Freddie Spohrer and passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 in Stonewall, Louisiana.

She married Thomas William Morton in 1967 and was a graduate of LSUS with a Bachelors in business.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and siblings. Left to cherish her memory are children, Melissa Irene Morton, Thomas Fordham Morton and wife, Shannon and Joseph Michael Morton and wife, Marueen; grandchildren, Elizabeth Morton, Chad Rhea and wife, Brittany, Anna Adamson and husband, Tyler, Sara Morton, Jacob Morton and wife, Lacee and Brian Morton; seven great grandchildren; sister, Laura Pendleton; brother, Paul Patrick Spohrer, Jr. and wife, Ruby and special friend, Leo Springer.
