Eli Christopher McKinney

February 15, 2001 — July 6, 2022

A graveside service for Eli Christopher McKinney will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Bourland Cemetery, 900 Bourland Road, Keller, Texas 76248.

Eli Christopher McKinney, a son, brother, nephew, grandson, artist, musician, and friend, was taken from this world early, after only 21 years of life. He was born on February 15, 2001, and passed on July 6, 2022.

Eli was self-motivated and incredibly talented. From teaching himself to ride a bicycle at four years old to teaching himself detailed art in his late teens, he could do anything he put his mind to. Eli loved many people, and when he loved, he loved big. He never pretended to be better than others or to hide his own faults. Eli could make just about anyone laugh. Everyone who knew him knew that when he hugged you, it would be the best hug you ever had. Eli could play any instrument by ear. He loved music and shared his musical talents with those around him. He could fix anything and was extremely resourceful. Eli will be dearly missed.

Eli is preceded in death by his aunt, Debbie Fulmer. He is survived by a loving family, parents, Joey and Adrea McKinney; sisters, Moriah McKinney, Bailey McKinney; grandparents, Bill and Shelba McKinney, Randy Sing, and Sandy Davis; aunts, Christy and husband, Chris, Holly and husband, Mike, Kayla, and Jamie; uncles, Wes and wife, Kayla and Brian and wife, Tiffany.

Honoring Eli as pallbearers will be Joey McKinney, Jordan Busch, Matthew Boyd, Noah Avaritt, John Patterson, and Jarrod Wheeler.
