Funeral services for Eleanor Marilyn Hearron, 74, will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Jerry Gill, Rev. Lee Berthelot, Rev. Rob Miskowski, and Paul Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the NW LA Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the funeral home. Marilyn was born December 5, 1944 in Many, LA and went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2019. She was a teacher's aide for special education for 23 years where she retired from the Caddo Parish School Board. She loved animals, music, crocheting, and making memories with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Eleanor Davis; husband of 49 years, Bill Hearron; brother, Ponder Davis; sister, Laura Davis; and niece, Leigh Ellen Yates. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Patrick Hearron and wife Joy; daughter, Kathryn Hearron and fiancé James Crites; grandchildren, Michael Boykin (Kayleigh), Cody Crossland (Monica), Jasmine Mickens, Caitlyn Glassford (Dillon), Laurilyn Crossland (PJ), Curtis Thompson, Christian Rabalais, Christopher Crites, and Zoe Hearron; great-grandchildren, Emily Boykin, Maddilyn Glassford, and Kourtni Crossland; and nieces and nephews, Mark Davis, Anne Suter (Tom), Paul Davis (Linda), Laura Page (Bob), Peggy Cummings (Joe), and Betsy Greeno. Honoring Marilyn as pallbearers will be Michael Boykin, Cody Crossland, Curtis Thompson, Christian Rabalais, Christopher Crites, Dillon Glassford, PJ Johnson, and Sam Broome (grandson-in-love). Memorials may be made to the Caddo Parish Animal Shelter or Wounded Warrior's Project. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Ghandi and Christus Schumpert Hospice for their care.
