KEITHVILLE, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Eldred Ray Campbell, 78, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rosary beginning at 10:00 a.m. Father Tim Hurd will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery in Zwolle, LA. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Dean officiating.
Eldred was born on February 6, 1938 in Noble, LA to Isaac Corties Campbell and Emma Isabelle Sepulvado Campbell, and passed away on October 31, 2016. Eldred drove a forklift for most of his career. He enjoyed gardening, planting trees, and being outdoors. Eldred was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Eldred was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Emma Campbell, and his sisters, Cathy Smith, Sue Preston and Sina Sepulvado. Those left to treasure his memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Elizabeth Ann Gilpin Campbell; son, William Campbell and partner, Tiana Kennell; daughters, Debra Ayres and husband, Gary, Marie Woodel and husband, Christopher, and Aimee Campbell and partner, Randy Roberson; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family who will dearly miss him.
