Elbert Duran Hauser, Jr.
Elbert was born to Elbert and Billie Ruth Hauser, Sr., on February 26, 1943 in Shreveport, LA and left this world for his Heavenly home on November 11, 2017 at the age of 74.
He left behind his wife of 6 years, Nancy Boyce Hauser; son, Trey Hauser; daughter, Kelly Matranga; 5 children of blended marriages whom he loved as if they were his own, Sharon Neal, Trish Andrews, Michael Nelson, Shannon Boyce, and Haley Boyce Rodrigues; 14 grandchildren to whom he was a loving grandfather; brothers, Dale Hauser and Robert Hauser; and sisters, Susanne Boyter, Mitzi Vowels, Sherry Kyle, and Debbie Smith.
He was retired from food sales at Ben E. Keith and made many friends during his career. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., November 14, 2017 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Rev. Kurt Auger officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
