Coushatta, LA - Funeral services for Elbert Tracy Durr, Sr., 81, will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Rose-Neath Coushatta Chapel. Burial will follow in Social Springs Cemetery, Social Springs Community. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM.

Elbert was born in Ajax, LA to Walter and Geneva Robinette Durr and passed away in Coushatta.

Preceding Elbert in death were his parents, Walter Leo and Geneva Robinette Durr; granddaughter LuLu; 3 sisters; 7 brothers; and daughter-in-law Jennifer Durr.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Melba Durr; sons Tracy Durr, Jr. and wife Dorothy, Danny Durr, and Charlie Durr; daughters Lynn Ochoa and husband George, Annette Lindsey and husband Goober, and Paula Onishea and husband Herbert; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a hose of nieces and nephews.
