Edwin H. Brock

Edwin H Brock, 64, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 23, 2024, after a valiant, lengthy fight with cancer.

Edwin was born on September 3, 1959 in Laurel, Mississippi. Edwin's love of auto mechanics and trucking brought him to the Vivian area in 1982 before marrying his wife, Kerry. An avid lover of the outdoors, Edwin could be seen many days riding his tractor, sitting on the porch, or working on cars. 

Edwin has spent over the last ten years employed as the Automotive Teacher at North Caddo Magnet High School where he has enjoyed sharing his love of mechanics with any and all that would listen and learn. Prior to his calling as a teacher, Edwin spent his life working for multiple trucking companies in the tristate area. 

Edwin is preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife, Kerry, two sons, Ethan and wife Taylor, Patrick and wife Sarah, and one daughter, Abigail Tyers and husband Richard. Grandchildren, extended family members and many friends mourn his loss.

Edwin's remains will be scattered along his favorite hill in a private family event. The family would like to thank Christus Cancer Center for all their support and care.
