Edward Allen Davis

A memorial service for Edward Allen Davis will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 4300 North Market Street, Shreveport, Louisiana. The service will be officiated by Father Joe Martina. A remembrance gathering will follow the service in the old chapel. Edward Allen Davis was born December 21, 1965 in Dubuque, Iowa to parents David Allen Davis and Nancy Cathryn Davis and passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Shreveport. He was a dedicated and loyal employee of Circle K for over 30 years. He loved Chicago Cubs baseball and knew everything there was to know about sports. Ed loved to take his nieces and nephews to the movie theater to see big features like Star Wars. He loved animals especially his beloved cat, Mouse. Ed was more than just a brother to his siblings, he was a friend. Ed was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Craig and husband, Kevin, Christine Lopas and husband, John, Cheryl Heiar and husband, Blake and Angie Bickham; brothers, Joel Davis and wife, Liz Beattie, Charles Davis and Lupe, Andrew Davis, Michael Davis, Douglas Davis and David Street and wife, Nina and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
